Nilesh Prasad, LL.B & Notary Public (Fiji, 2000)
Nilesh was admitted to the High Court of Fiji in 2000 and has been with the firm since. He was made a partner in 2008 and became the principal in 2016.
Nilesh was appointed as a Notary Public in 2016 with an indefinite commission.
His practice areas include almost all aspects of commercial and business law; commercial advisory, commercial litigation, intellectual property law, employment and labour law, foreign investment, banking, finance & security documentation, debt recovery & creditors’ remedies, bankruptcy & insolvency, admiralty & maritime law, taxation law and due diligence.
Nilesh has particular and significant experience in trade mark matters and manages large trade mark portfolios for varied local and international clients. Nilesh attends to trade marks registration, search & clearance, watching, monitoring & investigation, oppositions & non-use, portfolio management, litigation & enforcements, renewal and packaging & labelling.
He also files applications for patents, designs and domain names for clients.

Shiristi Kumar LL.B, PDLP (Fiji, 2020)
Shiristi was admitted to the High Court of Fiji in 2020 and worked for another private practice based in Suva since October 2020 where she practiced in the area of civil and criminal litigation, family law and real estate conveyancing.
She joined Mitchell Keil in October 2021 as a Solicitor. Her practice areas include debt recovery and creditors’ remedies, commercial law advisory and litigation, family law and selected criminal law matters.
Shiristi is a member of the Fiji Women Lawyers Association.
Preeti Verma LL.B, PDLP, B.Bus, PGDip BusMgt (Fiji, 2021)
Preeti was admitted to the High Court of Fiji in November 2021.
She was awarded the Gold Medal Prize for most outstanding Bachelor of Law student at the University of the South Pacific.
Prior to becoming a lawyer Preeti completed her Bachelor in Business Marketing in June 2005 and Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management in June 2006 from the Central Queensland University. Preeti worked as a Marketing Analyst for a national FMCG company after that.
Preeti joined Mitchell Keil in December 2021 as a Solicitor. Prior to this she worked for the firm as a Legal Executive for the period January 2020 to December 2020.
Her practice areas include intellectual property law, wills & estate matters, commercial law advisory & litigation, real estate conveyance, debt recovery, employment law, immigration law, selected family law matters.
Preeti is a member of Fiji Women Lawyers Association and the Fiji Law Society.
Mohammed Usman
Usman, as he is commonly known as in Suva’s legal circles, is one of the most, if not the most, senior conveyance clerk in Fiji.
